In preparation for the quickly approaching Ohio State Fair, I was invited to attend the Buyer's Appreciation Luncheon at the Governor's residence in Bexley, Ohio. Among those in attendance were other officials of the Ohio State Fair, past livestock auction buyers, and various supporters of the livestock industry and the fair. Virgil Strickler, the Ohio Expo Center & State Fair General Manager, was present to speak about the great support that the youth have at the Ohio State Fair and how this year's fair is going to be, "Fairtastic". I had a wonderful time meeting with commissioners and other Ohio State Fair supporters. I am looking forward to seeing YOU at the Ohio State Fair, July 28 - August 8!
