I had the pleasure of meeting the Clark County Junior Fair Queen, Kati, at the OFMA convention during the queen contest. Kati was showing her dairy cattle when I arrived, so Brandon, a Junior Fair Board member, showed me around the fair until she was available. Kati told me that she thought the Clark County Fair is one of the 5 largest fairs in the state. The fair has a HUGE exposition center with a giant indoor horse arena and banquet dining area. There is also a cafe inside of the building. Kati and I had the honor of being interviewed at the N.T.P.A. truck pull. I met the Clark County Fair 4-H Queen, Alison. While in the 4-H display barn, I also met the K-9 Duchess. I received a neat Clark County Fair pin to add to my collection, too! The Clark County Fair has a really unique building called the "Hall of Champions". It is a building that has plaques with exhibitors' names of the previous year's grand champions of each species hung upon the wall. It also has all of the past years Showman of Showmen winners' names displayed. Katie and I introduced the country music artist, David Nail and his band, to the stage. Then we watched the concert and sang along to his songs. I also met the Clark County Diary Princess, the Ohio Jersey Queen, Audrionna, and her court.
